Subscription Pricing FAQ

As of July 1, 2021, Roll20 increased prices on all new subscriptions for the first time since 2012. The new monthly price for Plus is $5.99 per month, with Plus available annually for $59.99. Pro subscriptions are available for $10.99 per month or $109.99 for an annual subscription. Free accounts and the free account experience are unchanged. Why increase subscription prices?

Roll20 is always improving and adding features, and we’ve added a lot of value since 2012. This price increase was not directly related to any one feature, but allows us to continue improving and investing in the Roll20 subscriber experience.


I was an active subscriber before July 1, 2021. Did my price change?

As a courtesy to our current subscribers, all accounts with an active subscription before 12:01 am Pacific July 1, 2021 “locked in” their current price for the next two years. This courtesy period will last until they cancel their subscription, until their subscription ends, or until July 1, 2023, whichever comes first. After this courtesy period, the subscription prices will increase to reflect the new pricing structure. Changing existing subscription levels or between annual/monthly plans will not affect this courtesy period. Changing your payment method (so long as payment does not lapse) will also not affect this courtesy period.


As a free user, what changed for me?

Nothing! No features were removed from the free experience here on Roll20. We will continue to make improvements to both the paid and free user experience.


Did this affect Marketplace items?

No. Marketplace prices are based on publisher MSRP or set directly by creators.


I'm from outside the United States. Will there be payment localization?

While it’s not a current project, we are investigating ways to better support the international community on Roll20 in the future.
