Marketplace Search

From the Roll20 Marketplace, click the search field to enter a keyword and begin searching. The search bar will automatically show a drop-down with some suggested Roll20 Marketplace publishers and categories. Alternatively, you have the ability to add the keyword if you are looking for more general results.

You can also sort results by feature - searching for animated assets, assets with dynamic lighting, and so on by typing "Features" into the search bar. The drop-down will automatically show common feature strings.

Search Filtering

You can add filters to your search by scrolling down to the author, tag, or category filters in order to refine your search to best find what you are looking for. Next to the search button is the pop-out filter button which will show you various category options that are commonly used such as tokens, art, map packs, or the type of games (Tabletop RPGs or Boardgames). The pop-out  filter menu will display on the right-hand side of your screen. You will need to click the search button in order to complete the search.

Filters are also available after the initial search in a left-side pane displaying the same options as the pop-out menu to allow for on-the-fly adjustments to filters. While on this page, results will update in real time as you add search terms and filters to your search.

How Filters Work

When applying a filter, anything that is not included in that filter will be excluded. If you add multiple filters, only results where all filters match will appear. For example, if you filter by the Paizo publisher and the Adventure module/addon type, you will only see items that are Paizo Adventures.

Search Sorting

By default, searches are sorted by Relevance to your search terms and filters. You can change the sort order on the results page by clicking the Sort By drop down and selecting your preferred option. Current options include:

  • Relevance
  • Newest
  • Most Popular
  • Price (Low to High)
  • Price (High to Low)

Please note, that if you start a new search, your Sort By option will revert to Relevance as as the default sort.
