Hiding Map Areas with Fog of War

Control what players see on the external display in Send to Tabletop mode using the Fog of War layer. Fog of War only affects the Send to Tabletop view. Hidden areas remain visible behind an opaque layer in your editing window.

  1. Create a new Fog of War layer from the Dungeon Presets menu
  2. Use any drawing tool to cover areas you want to hide from players (Rectangle recommended)
  3. Delete Fog using the Erase mode of your drawing tool to reveal areas as players explore (you can also hide Fog of War layers if you prefer to set up multiple sections in advance and remove them with a click).

Note: Change the opacity and color of fog in the Layer Settings menu.
