As part of our work to make tabletop games easier to play and learn, all in one place, we’re so excited to implement new integration features connecting Demiplane and Roll20! In the current Public Beta phase of the integration, linking your Demiplane and Roll20 accounts will enable Cross-Platform Content Syncing, Shared Subscription Benefits, and Character Sheet Integration between Demiplane and the Roll20 VTT.
How to Connect a Roll20 Account to Your Existing Demiplane Account
Option 1
If you have a Demiplane account and a Roll20 account, and you are using the same email address for both of them, you can link your accounts by selecting the “Continue with Roll20” option on the Demiplane login page.
Option 2
You can link your Roll20 account by clicking your Demiplane profile picture and selecting Account Settings >> Sync Accounts >> Roll20 Account Linking. The sidebar that opens will have a “Link Roll20 Account” button, which will allow you to link an existing Roll20 account, or create a new account if you don’t already have one. If you’re already logged into a Roll20 account, the button will automatically link to that Roll20 account with no need to log in again.
How to Connect a Demiplane Account to your Existing Roll20 Account
Option 1
You can go to your Roll20 Account Settings page, and select the “Link Demiplane Account” option. This will allow you to link an existing Demiplane account if you already have one, or prompt you to create a new account if you don’t already have one. If you are already logged into a Demiplane account and click the “Link Existing Demiplane Account” button, it will automatically link to that Demiplane account with no need to log in again.
Option 2
You can link a Demiplane account to your Roll20 when you are creating a new game in Roll20 using one of the sheets labeled as "Supported via Demiplane." For our Public Beta, the supported sheet options are:
- Alien RPG
- Candela Obscura
- Cyberpunk RED
- Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game
- Pathfinder 2e
- Vampire the Masquerade 5e
- Starfinder 2e Playtest
Once selected, you will have the opportunity as the Game Creator to connect your Demiplane and Roll20 accounts so you will be able to view your available characters within the game.
Option 3
As a player in a Roll20 game using one of the sheets labeled as "Supported via Demiplane," you will be able to link your Demiplane account if you haven’t already by navigating to the journal, clicking the "+ Character" button and selecting "Link Demiplane Character." That will prompt you to either log in to an existing Demiplane account, or create a new one.
Option 4
If you are in a Roll20 game using one of the sheets labeled as "Supported via Demiplane" and try to open a character which has been shared to you in the VTT but doesn’t yet have a Demiplane character linked to it, you will be prompted to either log into an existing Demiplane account or create a new one in order to link the character.
